need confirmation on breed and gender

No because mine were like that and they r both hens

That makes sense. What breeds are yours?
 
There are different things to look for at different ages to determine gender. These birds are 11 weeks old and have very well developed, red combs and have male only feathering coming in. Pullets will get developed red combs, but it happens when they are older and getting close to laying age.

X2. If they were older, that comb would say hen, but 11 weeks is too young for combs that red.
