Hmmmm well THAT would be where drifts would help 
But that does make me wonder... Would maybe wrapping the underside with tin or panels to keep the bottom warmer help? That's where most if the wind would go; right underneath it. The only windows on the north side are 2 little bathroom-like ones; I can insulate the north side with a big piece of particle board too, to buffer the wind a little more...
I might alwats get lucky, last year we had a very mild winter; only a few major blizzards... But the wind... Oh the wind is killer, 40 mph most of January... Hoping for happy medium?
