They are labeled Americana or easter eggers, Depending on where you are located, usually you can find them at local feed stores.

    They are called Easter Eggers.
You can't tell what color egg they lay until they lay.
Colors range from very pale blue/green/pink upwards to olive type colors.
If you want to know the egg color you will have to buy a laying pullet or hen.

Many people sell Easter egger chicks, starters or hatching eggs.
Many Hatcheries sell them as well but most times mislabel them as Ameraucana or Araucana.

Here is a couple of mine so you can see they come in many shapes/sizes/breeds mixed.

Splash - Maran x Ameraucana mixed Easter Egger

and I have 2 of these Maran x Ameraucana mixed Easter Eggers (finally had to tag them to tell them apart...)

    My egg basket:
The Blues and Splash lay Olive colored eggs,
The Hatchery girls lay light green eggs,
    Ameraucanas lay blue eggs,
    Leghorns lay white eggs,
Maran lays a nice dark red brown eggs,
I have a mixed mutt that lays nice dark brown eggs, (not lay atm)
and I have a couple mixed girls laying light brown/pink eggs. (can be called pink when very light)

Thanks :) Wish Black girl was laying she has a real nice dark brown egg that almost competes with the Maran.
