Need expertise on sick chick!

The crop to the best of my knowledge is more in the chest, not the throat. It looks to me like this poor little one has been beat on by the bigger chicks. Look, I'm taking a stab here but stop the ACV, he doesn't need it. What he needs is some vitamins with probiotics to help build him up again. If he won't drink by himself, you may need to put drop after drop on his beak until he will do so on his own. There are some BYCers who do tube feeding but I have never done it and really would hesitate with one this small even if I had. I don't think you need the olive oil either. Using a syringe to feed gives me pause, if you don't get it in the right place he could aspirate and get pnuemonia. There may be things going on here not seen yet, and I hesitate to say anymore than I have since I don't know all of the symptoms or what the others died from. Need to know what you are feeding and anything else, no matter how far off the wall it may seem. Something is wrong here but what I don't know.
X2. Poultry Nutri-Drench is a fast absorbing nutrient I've used on runts/young chicks who need a boost. Fed orally via syringe, a few drops 2x a day certainly wouldn't hurt. If you get the bird wet, you are only going to chill the bird, bring down the body temperature. Keep the bird under a brooder lamp 80-85 degrees. Keep the bird hydrated like Haunted said. Whoever told you to use ACV/sugar/olive oil mixture might as well have told you to cull the chick. I really wish people would perform more research before promoting such things.

Also, if the bird is 3 weeks old and no Amprolium has been introduced in the diet to build immunity to coccidiosis, that could be the problem.
Truth...missed that. Again, please find out what your friend was feeding them. If the feed wasn't medicated this is most probably this issue. If they weren't you should get some Corid and start giving that in the mix you are giving now. Tractor Supply has the powdered 20% Corid. The dosage is 1/2 tsp. per gallon for 5-7 days. [thank-you Dawg53] If you can do the math you may be able to get it down to a manageable amount. Fresh every 24 hrs.. Please be careful of the dosing. Too much and you've got problems, too little and it won't do it's job.
