Need fencing advice at new property - Suggestions please!!

Do you have a post hole pounder and a large man available?. Ive got five ft fencing and I use the u shaped garden staples to secure the bottom to make sure no one goes in or out..also with only three chickens a mobile would be good..you could move it everyday...

Depending on how bad their ground is, no man, no matter his size, would be able to pound posts in. Some places, the ground here is so rocky, that you might be able to get a post in if you use a tractor with a bucket and push them in that way. But some places, that just bends the t-post. Luckily that isn't the case everywhere here.

Whoah..not cool. I have clay and rocks where I live..it can take forever to dig a hole when gardening when the soil is dry...

I use cinder blocks to support my posts They actually do a very good job of holding a fence up. In the photo the cinder blocks are set the same direction as the fence runs because it looks better. Sometimes I set mine the cinder blocks jutting out from the fence to make it stronger. ( narrow end of the cinder block against the fence)Building a fence like this goes quickly. Just drop a post in the block,secure the fence to the post and move on to the next one. The cinder block serves as a foot.
