Need Fridge Advice

We have 2 big upright freezers so that is no problem for us. Just thought to keep the ice cream in the bottom freezer.

This is too funny to not share.

DH came in and said he fixed the freezer door. Ok.
He said there was a container of ice cream that was in the way and that was the problem.

Really?

I opened and shut the lower fridge door and the freezer door popped open again.

Guess not. Said we would have to get a gasket. Sorry honey already looked, no longer made.

We have a cheap fridge in the cabin next to our house (which we lived in while the house was being planned & built). For two years, we kept the freezer door shut with duct tape, because every time you shut the refrigerator door, the freezer door would pop open. It's still like that, but at least I don't have to look at it every day now.

We've had a side by side since about '93 and I hope to get something different when it goes. I just hate that everything gets lost in the back of both the freezer and the fridge.
