These are our two Ameraucana chicks. Same age. Sex is unknown but as they're starting to grow their tail feathers are completely different. So far we have zero roosters out of 8 but I'm hoping that one of these will turn out to be male. The one in the picture with our turkey has the short stumpy tail feathers. The chicken by itself has tail feathers about twice as long as the other and they stand straight up. Is this one a rooster??
