hey, *I* have horses and sheep... not my hubby in disguise are you?
No?
ok, well in case you are...
*warm* muck boots, waterproof. maybe with removable liners so I can dry them out if I sweat in them.
a hat that keeps the rain from going down the back of my jacket
a built in rack for my halters and ropes
a feed scale. maybe the kind you see in old grocery stores, that has a sort of big scoop hanging by chains from the dial/scale and can be tipped to pour the contents into a bucket
one of those cast-iron boot brush/scrapers that has 3 brushes and will get the mud off the bottom and sides of my boots all at once. I like the one that looks like a hedgehog, but a simple practial one would do too.
more buckets... they wear out and the plastic cracks. the stainless steel ones are expensive but they last.
a hay wheelbarrow - has the big bicycle wheels on it and fits one big or two small bales exactly.
if she spins her own wool, an Ashford gift certificate. (or whoever makes her spinning wheel)
a big bag of peppermint horse cookies... horses, sheep, goats... they all love them. (except my one horse who's allergic and gets hives... ) oh, wait, maybe that's not a gift for her...
a booklet of coupons you make up for her, each one good for "sleep in honey, I'll feed"... if she rides a lot, maybe one for "I'll clean and oil your saddle"...
