How is this baby. It just needed to find right side up...right??

My guess its gonna died wouldnt suprise me. Its still like this. No wonder i dont get attached to anything either it died when its 3 or when its bprn.

Have you tried to wrap a paper towel or wash cloth around it so that its feet are under it, and leaving its head uncovered? Sometimes this can help the chick. It's about a 50/50.

jeslewmazer said...at least you can try...that is a little different all right. It looks as though it's trying to get up at least.

So I set mine on Nov 1st and went into lockdown today. This is my first ever hatch so I was super shocked to see one of the little guys rolling ever so slightly back and forth in there!!

How am I going to concentrate on anything else this weekend?! Are they going to be wiggling and peeping for three whole days and I just have to wait it out?! I can't stand the suspense!

Good luck! It's so much fun, what can I say? I've done this for a long while, I still have a hard time concentrating! I'm back and forth to that room when they go into lock down, but at least not until the second day, because I know that things can start happening then. Like the first pip..then it may take a whole day to hatch, but oh well..I watch anyway.
