Need hatch buddies for or close to the 18th!

Just went into lockdown today, 11/15. I didn't candle, should have but I didn't. These are some eggs from our girls, well really one of our girls had any fertile that I can tell. The EE eggs are just to dark to see in, there are 2 that were possibilities. So we'll just wait and see.

I will let you all know what happens.

Yes, it's my sussex who are now in lockdown. I can't believe how much my ee babies have grown!

This is so exciting! I can't wait for pics of everybody's chicks!

i so cant wait! we are going to put them in the new bator that my DH made this weekend! its holding temp good! super excited!!

A chair ey? Does that work? I probably could have done that last spring, but I've had neck problems, bad.
I just got over surgery. I had C 5,6, and 7 fused in my neck. So guess what happens while my hubby and I were out at Home Depot getting some wood for my broody hens spot? We're sitting at a stop sign, and boom! A guy hits us from behind. I said, ouch, then all I could think of to ask my husband was...why did he do that? Because I'm thinking, we're sitting at a stop sign. Ok, so a little more than that was going on..I was just pulling my arm back in the window from handing a guy a dollar bill. You know, those guys that stand at the corners. I didn't give any money last year, so thought I would this year, and by darn if he wasn't drunker than a skunk..if skunks can get drunk. Darn! Anyway, the guy that hit us says when he gets out of the car..my bad. He took one look at me, then hurried and looked the cars over and says, I don't see any damage, are we good? I told him that we should at least get his name and number, because I am only 3 and a half weeks out from major surgery. If the doc wants an x-ray, it would be nice if he paid for it. Well, no police, dummy us..we are trusting..seemed like a nice guy after we got to talking..I know, famous last words. I actually feel ok... just the same pain I've been having since out of the hospital. It will take a while for everything to get back to normal. I have a follow up this Thurs. My husband said it hurt his neck at the time too..that guy hit us pretty hard. At least it felt hard to me. I'm really thinking that I am fine. Just hope I can start taking my collar off a little at a time now.
Ok, not a health board here...but I won't be bending over the bator for too long, just long enough to look for those pips! And, if they are getting bigger, then zipping..day after tomorrow is my guess.

I have fused discs in my neck and get pressure on my nerve in my neck, so I can't stand bent over for more than a couple of minutes. The chair worked beautifully so that I could stare into the incubator and watch my chick zip for 15 minutes at a time. My husband thought I was nuts, but it was worth it. I did have the candler pointed at the egg so that I didn't have to lean over so far to see it (it's just not that light in there).

Went into lockdown today 11/15 I candled I have 7 that BIG blobs filling up the whole egg. I soooo hope they live and hatch!! I will be devastated firday or saturday if none hatch!

I just read about you on the bottom of your post...I'm also an animal lover. I used to foster and rescue dogs when I was able..loved it! I had the chance to know the personalities of so many different breeds. But, have to say, I have a favorite of all time..and that's the Golden. I never did foster one, I ended up getting one in the 90's. Huge guy! His name was Grizz. We had to put him down last fall. Man, that was hard. I had gotten another Retriever when we knew that we were going be losing our older guy soon. So we now have Toby. He has the sweetest face you could ever imagine. We also have..a Schnoodle..and just got a Yorkie. I'm getting too old to handle the big guys, so lap dogs it is..although my Grizz often thought he was one.
