I just got over surgery. I had C 5,6, and 7 fused in my neck. So guess what happens while my hubby and I were out at Home Depot getting some wood for my broody hens spot? We're sitting at a stop sign, and boom! A guy hits us from behind. I said, ouch, then all I could think of to ask my husband was...why did he do that? Because I'm thinking, we're sitting at a stop sign. Ok, so a little more than that was going on..I was just pulling my arm back in the window from handing a guy a dollar bill. You know, those guys that stand at the corners. I didn't give any money last year, so thought I would this year, and by darn if he wasn't drunker than a skunk..if skunks can get drunk. Darn! Anyway, the guy that hit us says when he gets out of the car..my bad. He took one look at me, then hurried and looked the cars over and says, I don't see any damage, are we good? I told him that we should at least get his name and number, because I am only 3 and a half weeks out from major surgery. If the doc wants an x-ray, it would be nice if he paid for it. Well, no police, dummy us..we are trusting..seemed like a nice guy after we got to talking..I know, famous last words. I actually feel ok... just the same pain I've been having since out of the hospital. It will take a while for everything to get back to normal. I have a follow up this Thurs. My husband said it hurt his neck at the time too..that guy hit us pretty hard. At least it felt hard to me. I'm really thinking that I am fine. Just hope I can start taking my collar off a little at a time now.
Ok, not a health board here...but I won't be bending over the bator for too long, just long enough to look for those pips! And, if they are getting bigger, then zipping..day after tomorrow is my guess.
