Need Hatching Eggs

I am looking for fertilized chicken hatching eggs near Colorado Springs that I could pick up. My first grade students have been doing an embryology unit and none of our eggs are going to hatch . These chicks will be taken to a farm after a couple of weeks, so if you want your chicks back we could do that too.

They ship fertilized hatching eggs to your post office and you can then pick them up! I totally recommend that website, I have gotten 4 chicks there and they are beautiful and healthy and grown up now.

Try craigslist or local classifieds. When I've need eggs in the past I've called up people advertising table eggs and asked if they have a rooster or they use their eggs for hatching. About half of them did. For one reason or another they just don't advertise them as "hatching eggs" even though they actually were. Definitely worth a shot if you're looking to fill an incubator. People have also successfully hatched fertile eggs from Trader Joe's. Best of luck. Hatching is a wonderful experience.
