Me too I didnt think this was going to be a happy ending. It amazes me how he just jumped back from almost dead. I just kept pacing back and forth looking at him and I was like there is no hope he is dying. Then I went and sat down with my kids for supper after supper i went back to check on him and he was alert and looking around so I gave him food and water and he went to town...I removed the heating lamp because he was starting to paint I have him by my heater now and he ate his little belly full and now is sleeping but is very alert.

Snowball is still doing well and has made 3 new friends he is now kept in my brooder with my 3 5 week old buff silkies. They took him under their wings and even seem to comfort him when he cries.

How wonderful! Glad to hear it turned out okay. Its amazing how much stress a chicken can cause isnt it? I never thought I'd love mine as much as I do but they do weedle their way into you heart.
