Need help ASAP my baby chicken is gasping for air

This morning she was fine and eating and hopping around here cage then this afternoon i noticed that she was laying by her self away from the other baby chicks and gasping for air and not really moving and her eyes are closed. I have started giving her sugar water to see if that helps but any other info would be great

I would isolate her... make sure she is warm.. give fresh water and have faith.

I had a 7mth bantam who was fine yesterday who began struggling for air this morning and was dead by 2. Seemed like she was congested sounded "bubbly".

I hope yours survives.

maybe she got something stuck in her mouth. trying giving her a small amount of honey so it will help anything that is stuck slide down.

that happened to one of my chicks! it had a ton of food lodged in it throat..we took a straight pen and flicked it out very very carefully and hes still here today!
