Need help asap

My roosters top beak was broke when i got him now his bottom beak is grow longer and is curving up i know i need to trim it but dont know how its getting so bad he is loosing color please help

I trim with fingernail clippers and with the pliers for cutting your toenails. Beak is like your nails and can be trimmed. If you are nervous, find someone who trims parrots. Poppy, my banty has an over bite that I have to trim from time to time.

There are YouTube videos that show how to trim beaks. However, if you are not comfortable doing it after you check them out, call a vet that has a avian speciality and bring the bird there. Ask the vet to either show you or walk you through.
