Need Help ASAP

Doxycycline is one of the best I have found that works for respiratory. One of my ducks had gunk in it's lungs. I treated with baytril at first because that is what I had. It helped but was not going to get rid of it. Doxy was able to finish it off.

Amoxicillin might help, if the bacteria is notresistant to amoxicillin. It may help enough till you get the proper drugs.

Could very well be what type of bedding have you been using?
Pine shavings from TSC. I changed it out everyday but I was keeping them overnight in the greenhouse. It’s an orchid green house so it’s warm, wet and humid. Things I am reading increase their risk dramatically.

I feel like an idiot.

I lost the next sickest one about an hour ago. I’m waiting for the vet clinics in the area to open to start finding one that will see ducks. The only one that opens at 7am doesn’t do farm animals.

I hope it’s not too late for the others and I hope it’s not aspergillosis. It seems like that doesn’t have a good prognosis for any of them.

I’m going to work on building them a duck house today and tomorrow which was my plan all along. Everything got messed up when my boyfriends dog was sick and we both got quite sick from our Covid vaccines last weekend.

They will need to treat for a fungus but there are drugs so don't give up hope.
And I hope you can find a vet also, my original vet didn't see ducks as pets but I did find a vet who would see my duck I just had to go to the next county.
I'm sorry so much got piled on you at once. :hugs

I found a vet that would see them. I’m waiting on the parking lot to be seen. All of them took a bit of water from me when we got here, one less than the others.

I hope they can be saved. I love them more than I should .
