my baby chicken hatched 2 days ago. I forgot to take out the egg tray before lock down and I found her stuck in between the egg tray and the wall with her leg in an awkward position. I took out the egg tray and left her and the eggs in there. Now she is in the brooder and she can’t walk. It’s hard to explain so here is some photos.

Hey so sorry to hear about your lil one ..
I think Ur chick's leg is injured cause of stuck down ..and because he's too young to handle this injury he's unable to walk ..but if he can walk lil bit its a gud thing as his bone is not broken ..I suggest u to massage his leg with some warm olive or coconut oil or if u have some mustard oil then its very good for bones ..I tell u the recipe of soothing oil

In a bowl add 4-5 tablespoon mustard oil (or as required) add some pinch of turmeric and warm this oil till u get the aroma in oil then let it lukewarm and then massage it on his legs u can apply it on both legs. .
2 times massage it with this oil it will sooth the injury as both mustard oil and tumeric is antiseptic ..

He's too young if u can give him some boiled eggs and essential vitamins it will work soo good in recovery ..
Let him sit in nice warm place

Hope he'll be fine soon

Here are some more photos if it helps. The red circle is showing how her injured leg pops out and how it’s too far forward.

Is it ok to use coconut oil and tumeric together instead of mustard oil?
