One of my chicks hatched but has it's cord still attached to the egg. I hadn't seen it before so I waited. It's been abot 3-4 hours and it's still attached. The humidity dropped to 65%. Should I add water to my Hovabator or just sit tight? This is day 20. Two chicks hatched early, probably due to temp. I feel bad seeing it drag it's little egg around.

Thanks for any help!

If your hatch is still continuing it would be good to maintain the 65% humidity.
Don't worry about the cord dragging around yet. It will most likely dry up and break off on it's own.
Best of luck on your hatch,
Carolyn
