So I would love to get a silkie chick, however because I live in the city, I have to get a female. unfortunately, what I see out there, i can only get unsexed chicks. SO, if there anything that would tell me from looking at baby silkie chicks if the chick is a male or female?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Actually, if you are considering getting some shipped to you, mypetchicken DOES offer sexed silkies. However, bantams are hard to sex, so you may still end up with a roo on accident, although they seem to be pretty good at sexing them from what I've heard around here.

They are out of those babies for indefinite future, I just checked. So wondering if anyone can tell me difference so I can go to my local feed store and pick them out. Yes I am trying to take the "easy way out"
