We have turkeys, chickens, and ducks that roam a large fenced in area during the day (without aviary netting) and are locked up in their coop at night. Today, around noon, I went out to the chicken yard to find four of our chickens and two of our ducks dead inside their run. Two of them were missing their heads and one of them had slight puncture wounds on her back near her right wing. The rest of the dead birds had no visible wounds. But whatever killed them didn't eat any of the meat from the dead birds. It just took two of their heads and left the rest. All the surviving birds were uninjured. Does anyone know what could have killed them? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks

I would take a lawn chair, rifle, food and drink and set up where I could get a clear safe shot at whatever comes back tomorrow. Turn em all out like normal and maybe even set the dead birds out where the predator can see them. If it dose not show up then setup the trail cam and traps.
