aww how sweet about his toy.. I hope you can get him a friend tomorrow it will be the high light of his lil life. The guy has Rouen, pekin, fawn and white runner, khaki Campbells, and call ducks. I hope to go get one after school tomorrow, but he said to call before I come because he's not sure if he will be home! I hope he is because if i can't get one tomorrow I have to wait until Thursdays. And leaving Alfred for school and then work will give him absolutely attention from mommy Tuesday and barely any Wednesday since its school 8:20-3:25 (so ill be gone 7:45-3:45) and then work 4-9 Tuesday and school 8:20-2:15 Wednesday (so gone 7:45-2:30) and then work 4-8. Mom is going to try to bring him downstairs 2-3 times tomorrow for like 10-15 min (no longer or he'll get too cold) but still that's a lot of alone time. And apparently when I'm gone he just sits in his box cuddling with his toy ducks until I come home
I hope so too!aww how sweet about his toy.. I hope you can get him a friend tomorrow it will be the high light of his lil life.![]()
I hope you always keep a close eye on your Bentlee while Alfred is around him, Terriers have a strong prey drive just as dachshunds do, I learned that the hard way last year when my Dachshund got one of my ducklings, and he has been around them all his 4 years. Will he become less friendly and cuddly if I get him a ducky friend? How much age difference can there be between them. I found someone with silver appleyards as well, but they are in the other direction. Should I get one of them instead even if I have to wait a little longer?
