This is my first time hatching eggs, and its a batch of call ducks. We are currently on day 28 and were certain at least 3 or 4 would make it, however there hasn't been any signs of internal pipping. I decided to open two of them out of curiosity, and one was rotten while the other didn't even seem to be fully developed--I saw a loose, dry membrane and it seemed to be wet inside with what I assume was an underdeveloped chick. Is there anything I can do for it? If I'm on day 28 and my top two weren't even developed, is the rest of the batch bad? How long should I wait? Any ideas as to why this happened?
