NEED HELP! humidity and temp.!

Ok I have a Little Giants still air incubator and I just wanted to know where to keep the humidity and temp. Im thinking on leaving the humidity to 35%-40% and the temp. 100-102 f and for the last 3 days Raise humidity to 60%-70% I have been saying this in some of my other threads but some people say its too low and some people say its ok and now i don't know what to do! I remember last time I hatched eggs that I had them on 35%-40% and temp. at 100-102 f and on last 3 days I could only raise my humidity to 50% because my bator died and I used a heat lamp for temp. so the temp was at 100-103 and they still hatched. So is it good the humidity to 35%-40% and the temp. 100-102 f and for the last 3 days Raise humidity to 60%-70% and temp. to saty the same? tell me how you do it and the hatching rate so I can maybe copy you

well, that's exactly what i do. i get a really good hatch rate that way.
100-102 is perfect, humidity is fine. last three days bring it up to 60-70%.

perfect! that's jsut what i do, but i like to keep the temp 99-100. 102 is just fine though!

thanks KattyKillFish. I had the bator with no eggs and the temp. was at 100.0 and when I placed the 24 eggs the temp. went wayyyyyyy down! it went to 91.8! does that happen or my newly bought thermometer is broken!?!

that's normal. the eggs are a lower temp than the inside of the icubator and will try to cool the air in there until they warm up. no problem, but check on it every couple of housr to be sure the temp goes back up. it should, but i heat the the little giants can have temp problems.

but anyhow yeah that's normal. your doing great!

on my LG it says that the temp. its at 100f f and the humidity is at 32% im going to use dry incubation. and the bator is a still air so is that good ?

I grabbed an egg and it felt warm at 100 is that good? or did it supposed to be hot?

to get an accurate internal temp reading you can use a water-wiggler and a digital thermometer. put the sensor inside the water wiggler and viola! it will read the internal temp of the eggs! you dont HAVE to do that, i don't and i get a good hatch.
