NEED HELP, I have some kind of fruit PIC ADDED

Yup, wild plum- very yummy! Ours sprang up near an old oak and has fruit this year. We eat them off the tree when they are very yellow and kinda soft, like a ripe store-bought purple plum.
They smell soooo good too! Enjoy!

I'm about 50 miles south of Wilkes Barrie, Scranton. 4 hours from Pittsburgh. Come and get some I have about 500 gallons of them.

Thanks for the help, now what do I do with them? Make Plum jelly?

I'm an hour west of Pittsburgh, so I guess I'll have to find some more locally. Thanks!

Just to clarify, I'm pretty sure what she has are NOT persimmons and should not be confused as such, IMO. We have persimmons trees in our yard and they are orange and much larger than the ones pictured here. Any yes, they can be very bitter

, I think ginbarts are two beautiful verities of wild plums and probably much sweeter.

My DH and DS are eating them. I tried but they don't agree with me. I think I will make jelly with them so I guess I will be ahead on some Christmas gifts. LOL

I told all my family, no buying Christmas gifts this year we need to make them. My grandchildren were not to happy about that.

It's a good thing I didn't mean I wasn't getting them something. They just need to make me something but they don't know that.

I think I will put an ad in the local paper for free. I hate to see them go to waste. I'll try and take a pic of the tree's the one is very big about 50 feet across, the yellow one not so big.
