Last night about an hour before dark we found our little bantam turken dead underneath in the middle of a 4x8 trailer next to the chicken coop. When we found her there was feathers scattered all around her and her neck, breast and abdomen were eaten. Her intestines where laying out next to her. The attack looked like a hawk but have never seen a hawk drag its prey under a trailer. We live in wisconsin and there is snow but it is to powdery to identify any tracks. Thanks need your help.

I have seen hawks drag a smaller chicken underneath shrubs or an overhang, and I have seen where GHO have hidden a half eaten rabbit carcass in brush. Not saying it was a raptor, but the 'crime scene' does tend to point in that direction. Keep your eyes open this evening as it will very likely return.

It was a possom they are known for bitting necks of chickens then eating the abodomen an guts sorry details but it is what they do an you need to search your pen and see where it got in at bc it will cm bk
