Need help identifying this breed

here is my GLW hen

Looking at that photo it is making me wonder if my hen is actually a barnevean or whatever they are called as she has the black head... I’m still trying to get the photos but she’s been in a mood lately and won’t hold still lol

Just a question but besides the “crowing” (which she isn’t doing) what other sounds do cockerels make... she makes like a chirping chatter sound it sounds quite pretty... it doesn’t sound like a chicken sound at all (I have other chickens and none of these have ever made this sound.. even the rooster I had never made this sound)

And this is why I asked coz all the videos I’ve watched with GLW hens and Roos and cockerels none of them make the same sounds.. she doesn’t even look like any of the Roos or hens in the videos... so is it possible that she is a mixed breed of barnevean (sorry spelling maybe off) and GWL coz she looks like one of them (head colour and body shape even the grey fluff around under her tail) but has the the lacing of a GWL

No, otherwise he would have a modified comb and a lot different pattern. He is just a poor quality GLW.

I understand how hard they are to get pics of. Maybe some treats would get him to hold still long enough for a couple pics.

A sebright should have slate legs, not yellow. Also a sebright, at that age, would be showing the henny tail feathers (male and female both have henny tails). A sebright should also have uniformed lacing over the entire body although poorer quality birds can have wonky or incomplete lacing. Altogether I'd say you do not have a sebright.

Here's one of my sebrights as an example.

Yes it was the legs and tail that got me questioning what breed she was... I am in absolute awe at how beautiful the golden and silver sebright are.... am still looking for one for poultry show purposes
