Was just something that was pointed out early in the conversation... even her body looks too small to be a cockerel... she’s very “dainty” like a bantam just just not as plump..I'm basing my "boy" on the pattern and feathering. All wyandottes have rose combs (well unless you get from a hatchery, now a days you see a lot more single comb wyandottes.)
I seriously think she is a boy. I don't know what else to say.
Everyone is entitled to there own opinion... let’s just say if she really is a he I will be extremely peeved as the area I live I can not have Roos (my local council made me rehome my isa brown x Plymouth rock roo a few months back) and I made this point very clear to the person I bought her off at the time of purchase... getting the breed wrong I can deal with... getting the sex wrong I can not....I seriously think she is a boy. I don't know what else to say.
If I'm wrong you have my full permission to come laugh at me. But I stand by my cockerel claim.
Hopefully I have enough hens that if Audrey (chicken in question) is not an Audrey at all that “he” will not feel the need to crow to get more female counterparts.... all up (not including Audrey) I have 7 hens all of different breeds
He will crow. All roosters crow sooner or later.
