Hi there!

I bought my first batch of babies from tractor supply about 6 weeks ago, and they've come a long way so far! I know that 4 were definitely Easter Eggers, one looks to be a ISA Brown or Golden Comet, and then there is... Scarlett.

Scarlett is a mystery bird who started out shy and quickly became the boldest bird in the flock. I assumed she was a pullet because the entire first batch of babies were labeled as pullets. Now, I'm not so certain. She has feathering unlike any of the other chicks, and I have no idea what breed she could be. She's also sporting a funny comb - the other birds have started to grow theirs in, but they don't look like hers. I'm wondering if it's different simply because she is a different breed, or if it's the sign of a rooster. She also started some interesting behavior a day or two ago where she'd play-fight with the other babies and pull on the feathers behind their necks... only did it once or twice that I've observed, but enough to make me wonder.

Thoughts?
