Need Help Im Brand New To This!!!!!

First off, some TSC's do sell flying breeds. They are selling a lot of mallards lately. www.metzerfarms.com that's where you can get more ducklings. They will ship to you, and you will pick them up at the post office. If you post pics, I can identify them for you, without pictures it will be hard to tell you what you have. I agree with your method for building, I wouldn't have even bought my ducklings, unless I knew I could accommodate them, but you sound like you have a plan. Remember to look around, and evaluate all of your predators, BEFORE building/ drinking your duckling outside.

we seem to be a bit lost on the whole duck thing, we didnt look into them much, we just decided to get them.... but we do have a plan for their house and we're sure that they can be housed safely.

also.. anyone have any idea what sex they could be just by looking? we want to get a pair of each hopefully or atleast one male and the rest females eventually.

Okay so the one in the back is a black swedish :

The one on the left is a Blue Swedish:

The one on the right is a Mallard:

Are any of them crested? It sort of looks like the swedes are. (Crested is the puff on the back of the head)

Sorry, no way to tell the sex from a pic. You can watch metzers video on how to sex ducklings. You can always wait till they either grow feathers, or quack. The ideal flock is a lot of hens, and one drake. This way he doesn't over breed with any of them.

Are you hoping for a non-flying bird? (If the enslosure has a top, you will not need to clip wings)

As to telling them apart, Rouens tend to be more tan, and Mallards are more yellow (In my experience). You can look on Metzer's to see the difference. I suppose he/she could be a rouen, but I have yet to hear about tcs selling rouens instead of mallards.
