Need help in prices from old car people please

Scrap a car that would sell in a day with a 2K price tag on it for $400 scrap weight?

People do that every day

You don't have to ship it if you sell it on Ebay. Just specify it is for buyer collection only, as are most vehicles.

I sold a pretty bad Trans Am on Ebay and got $5000 for it, and the buyer drove 600 miles to get it.

Having done 32 show cars...I might have a working knowledge.
Did Darts, Barracuda's...A body Mopar stuff mainly. Only Ford was
a 1959.

Simply being old (1968) doesn't make it valuable.

Run a quick search for Thunderbird clubs. Can it posted that way?
Search history on e-bay? Was there a market?

Selling as scrap makes it gone in one quick pile. Dismateling for parts
takes time and effort. And there will be big greasy chuncks left, still needing
scraped.

**Went clear to lower Mississippi after a straight body once. Turned it over
in my driveway, unloading from the trailer.

Quick search gives me TWO Thunderclubs in New Mexico.
Several in surrounding states. Maybe worth a phone call.

good to hear you're taking some time to research. You never know! Hang in there and keep up the good search...even if it means actively searching out a buyer too. I like the idea of going to some tbird sites/message boards and looking around before you start advertising.
