Need Help interpreting my Roo's body language!

Wing dancing is not done just for romancing purposes. During my flock's molting very little mating was going on, if any at all. My roo still wing danced at a hen when she needed to be brought back into line; his version of "in line".
The time I see the most wing dancing going on is first thing in the morning. When I first open the coop door in the mornings, my hens pop out and run here and there and my roo absolutely hates it. He runs from one to the other wing dancing in an attempt to herd them all back into a nice tight circle. After awhile he gives up because the hens ignore him.

I try to give my Roo treats- he takes them out of my hand then drops them on the ground and calls his girl over. He is a gorgeous Barred Rock that we named Bruce (from Bruce all mighty) his girls name is Bella. I hope it will be many years before either have to go to freezer camp.

i always thought of it as "hey baby, look how sexy i am with muh purdy wings and fancy dance! i am soooooo cool, look at my big red comb! i find ALL the good things for my ladies to eat even if it's in the middle of the coop and you already know it's there! ooooooh ahm so strong!"
but then again, my maran is the definition of "cocky"

he's never showed any aggression toward me even though he was the biggest of 3 brothers. in fact he likes being picked up and petted, he likes neck scratches and treats and he LOVES it when you call him "mr meanie"

he absolutely HATES my boyfriend, who the hens love and follow around everywhere. they even try to jump on his head!

he also stomps.

what the heck does THAT mean?

Does he stomp when his girls are following your guy around? If so I'd just guess he was throwing a hissy fit cause he's jealous

We call that "Chicken TV" around our house, and we do it often. Never needed treats tho, they just come over and jump right up on our shoulders or our laps and take a nap. ( Guess that says a lot about our exciting retirement)....
