Need help knowing what breed my two mystery hens are

I have two hens that I have no idea what they are. I live out in the wood on a small farm and almost a year ago I found a box abanded with chicks inside. Sadly only 5 survived but I cant tell what these two are. Can any one help? The first picture is my favorite girl and top hen her name is grim and the second on is her second in command named marsha. There very beautiful just can't tell what they are.

What color eggs do they lay?

CCL's I think. I don't know a whole lot about the breed but that's my guess

I had that thought too. I was wondering because of the color variation. I just did some reading up on it, and there are a few cases of pure CCL stock producing oddball colors. Such as white. Seems Greenfire imported a group that don't conform to breed standard and there are some surprises from time to time.

Thank you there very sweet and loving and love to talk. And they could be. I've never had big chickens. I have always had bantams and my oldest is 13 years old so it's been fun watching them grow up.
