I dont know how to feel for an egg
I would feel a normal chicken first - just so you know what is a bone and what is something abnormal. I would first try feeling on the outside of the chicken - have the chicken face you and press/feel lightly starting a little before her legs and going back - be sure to feel between the legs and the body, that is where I've found the eggs most. If you can't feel something, or maybe you can and want to know where it is, oil or grease your finger, and put it in her vent. It sounds gross, yes, and I haven't done it before. you can use a TIGHT fitting glove it that helps you. If you feel something, continue treatment as I explained. Hope she gets better!!!!!Won't she get agitated if I feel that way?
Okay. I'd soak and rub, since the egg is right there. (maybe.) It never hurts to do it.Ok so I could feel something kind of under her vent that felt oval shaped but I'm not sure if it was an egg. Ill go feel the places you told me to now.
