We currently have two 9.5 week old chicks that our broody hen hatched. They are barnyard mixes with a supposed Silkie mix rooster. I think I know what they are but wanting others opinions.

Darn it! I was hoping the white one was for sure a hen. She/he is so cute. We already rehomed 2 that were for sure cockerels.x2. They're super cute and unique looking though, so hopefully someone will want to snatch them up!
I mean, hold onto them until they crow. You never know. I was so sure I had a cockerel this year, but nope. She went red at 3 weeks, popped a comb and wattles before everyone else, but is clearly 100% pullet at 18 weeks.Darn it! I was hoping the white one was for sure a hen. She/he is so cute. We will definitely hold on to them until hear a crow! We had an Easter egger that turned red super early as well and I thought for sure she was a cockerel, definitely a hen though!I mean, hold onto them until they crow. You never know.
