Day 7 of the chicken adventure, and I brought home two baby chicks.
I wasn't supposed to do that until Spring 2003.
Needless to say, they are here, and we are having all kinds of fun. 1 is an Auracana, and the other is ... oh I forgot already, two breeds that weren't even on my wish list. ; ) (oh its a Comet)
I am worried that I wont be able to locate the rest of my flock before these guys grow. I am afraid they won't mingle well if I wait to long. The plan was to have them all grow up together. ughh!!!
I need 2 Cuckoo Marans pulllets, and 2 Standard Silkie Pullets White. I live in South Florida, and can't find a single breeder ANYWHERE and I have searched the world over for the past week.
WHAT AM I GOING TO DO?!?!? Can any of you help me locate these chicks from somone that will ship such a small amount, preferrably a BYCer.
