need help removing leg ring

hi my matilda has a spring shape leg ring and last summer she got tangles up in some plant because of her leg ring i thaught nothing of it but this morning i found her hanging upside down by her leg ring caught ont the wire of her run but the leg ring has twisted and got quite tight so any ideas on how to get it off her

Use a "small" pair of wire snips (like what they use for making jewelry). You can buy them just about anywhere.
