Hello

I was watching some of my eggs hatch, but it stopped. Looked like the humidity was too low even after I did everything the instruction said. I opened the incubator to add a bowl of water in addition to the water i already have in the incubator. I also tried to peel off some more of the egg shell for this egg - but it does not look right?
It does not look like the humidity is rising? What sould I do? It looks too dry?

Is it chirping moving do you see the beak coming out.
Yes it is, but it doesn’t seem to get out. The membrane looks very thick and dry.. it looks like this for the 3 other eggs that has piped

Can you wet a warm paper towel and put it in the incubator that should raise up the humidity. .

Do you have some coconut oil? If you feel like the chick is struggling, it'd be a good idea to gently rub some oil on the membrane so you can check for any remaining active veins. Did the chick do the hole all on its own? If so, it looks to be possibly malpositioned

I dont have coconut oil 🤔 But thanks for the tip! The chicken made the hole, but it has changed position after it was made, se the beak is not in that position anymore..
