Need help sexing Dominiques :)

Ok, so, usually, I can tell pretty well if I have a pullet or a cockerel, but I've never had Doms before, and this kind of comb throws me off a little. I was going to post some nice, clear pics of the combs for you all, but I think I'm going to have to wait til it gets a little closer to nightfall as the lighting is pretty bad right now. The pics just aren't clear enough and make the combs look the wrong size, wrong color, etc, etc. If anyone has good pics of a Dominique chick that I can compare them to (please specify pullet or cockerel), around 8-10 weeks, it would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Alright, and here are the pics ...
I specified the colors in case it wasn't clear enough in the pics. I think they're both cockerels, but the combs aren't all pink, and I'm not sure how big this kind of comb should be at this age. The camera made the combs look a little redder than they actually are, so imagine them like that .
Chick 1
pink wattles
pink and yellow-ish comb, comb is two different colors, so sorta confusing
tail was extremely short when he/she was younger, but is now normal length




Chick 2
same as Chick 1 as far as color, but this one's tail is still kinda short

I understand you can tell pullets and cockerels apart from their barring, but does this apply to hatchery birds?

Nope. That's a fleshy pink color, not red-red.

If they're pure Dominiques, they're female. The barring color is female sepcific, more dark than white.
