Need Help Skinny Peacock???

I raise mine with chickens but you definitely need to treat him for cocci if you have chickens, amprolium/Corid ir u use oregano oil diluted with olive oil for cocci. Just matter of preference. You will also want to have something on hand called "fish zole". It's also called metronitazole. It is for blackhead, which a pea can be at risk for when u have chickens.
I treat all new birds for cocci as different kinds live in different soils.

Oh very pretty bird by the way, I have been looking for one for 4 years now. He will be gorgeous. Boh and see if he will eat a little cat food, they usually love that as a snack. And grapes.

We'll treat

I'll treat him very soon as that could be the problem

Gave him a little bit of dog food I'll try the grapes as well, and thanks I can't wait till he grows

I think they've already dewormed him I'll ask just to double check

Ive learned over years to always go ahead and deworm all incoming animals, its more a self confidence thing rather than a trust issue for me and plus it wont hurt them. Very pretty pea by the way will be a real looker in a few years, congrats and welcome to the pea world,

He'll get dewormed with some safe guard tomorrow

After observing and feeding him today I think he was just malnourished and all he needs to do is eat more here. I'll still dewormed him and treat my whole flock with Corid.
