Need help, what breed!

Hi everyone!
Like the title says I need help figuring out what breed these two little chicadees are. I don’t know how it happened but out of all 19 chicks these two somehow got mixed up along the way.

I'm gonna guess white rocks and drizzled silkie, I could be wrong though, just have to wait and See! Have a great day and God bless!

White chick could be White Rock, Cornish, leghorn... the other doesn’t look frizzled or silkie to me... silkies have dark skin and shanks, maybe buff Cochin if it has a single comb, Brahma or Wyandotte if rose combed...

At the feed store we buy them from they had a few other breeds at the time. After we had picked ours out the gentlemen working there said some of the breeds * might* have gotten mixed up...

Out of the breeds you listed, I'd guess the orangey one is some sort of bantam mix (a few people mentioned frizzle silkie- I've never had silkies, so I can't weigh in, but that could well be it.)

The white bird would have to either be some sort of ameracauna or a gold sex link rooster, which is my guess just based off the prominent comb, light down, and white feathers (although I can't imagine why your feed store would sell sex-link roosters?) However, as neither of these seem particularly likely, it's probably a mislabeled leghorn or some sort of white bird- leghorn, at least where I'm at, would be the most likely.

I'm interested to see how they mature. Best of luck finding out their breeds- I'd love to hear some more other opinions.

I didn’t think so. With the white one, when she was a week old I thought and was told she is a Golden Sex Link. Now that she’s bigger I’m thinking “ wait a second..”
This is the only time this has ever happened at this feed store for the record. Usually they are extremely organized.
