Need Help! what kind of chicken is this??

Im not to sure about the chicken in New Orleans. I don't go there much. I live more in South Central LA, Cajun Country.

And the gumbo was good this year. But the temperature was a little warm for it. But I hope the Cajun tradition doesn't end soon. Its great to watch and take part in.

Yes, you should work on getting your girl a buddy. Chickens are social animals. They live in a flock with order and keeping her alone will mean days of depression. She is pretty though, and probably very happy not to become someone's gumbo.

Has she layed any eggs yet? Looks very young to me...

Nope no eggs yet. Once I get some money, I will build her more suitable housing and get her a friend.

I've never heard of feral chickens in New Orleans.....Key West maybe? LBS
