Need help with a bloated belly please.

Very nice, younger Amerucana. Today I noticed she's bloated belly and waddling. I've seen this before and there must be something better than a rubber glove and Vaseline.

Really want to help her but am not sure how to help. Any ideas??

I've had 2 extra hours of light on to get some laying going so I feel awful it's probably egg binding.

If you suspect egg binding then it is necessary to check as it can kill a hen in as little as 24 hours. It is not difficult simply follow these instructions:

If you do not find an egg you may need to check and see if a vet in your area can see her.
