Hmmm - interesting I have not heard this before. I know ornamental birds like pheasants, quail and peafowl need a specific diet. I just let Mr and Mrs LC eat whatever all the others eat.

I think your babies look awesome, likely they are doing great on whatever it is you're giving them. And they are getting all sorts of goodies when they are out and about.

If you call Ritz Crackers a staple food. Or cob corn, canned corn, steak strips a staple food.?

How long have they been on medicated feed? You should wean them off medicated feed as they grow because medicated feed does withhold vitamins from them.

I have known them from the day they hatched, and not once have I given them medicated feed. They grow up healthy anyways.

It’s mess with my rooster day. He’s still asleep, but I’m going out and sit in the coop until he starts crowning. Then I will mock his crowning with all I have. If gizmo chimes in then I’m done for!
