Need help with a rescued chick.

I have a chick that I have rescued and is undersized and is having problems walking. She uses her wing to help move. I have put a splint between her legs to help but now I notice that one foot (toes) is much smaller then the other. When she trys to walk she steps on the good foot with the bad one causing her to trip. I exercise her legs once or twice a day but was wondering if anyone else has dealt with this issue and could help!

You might want to try corrective shoes and see if that helps.

It's always easier to do if you have an extra set of hands.

Best wishes with that curly toed chick. The sooner you can get those tape shoes on her, the better - did you notice that the one poster thought that the first 24-48 hours were critical to getting those toes uncurled? We are rooting for you!
