She might be right. Olive eggers can have almost any appearance, depending on what the hatchery is crossing to produce them. If the bird was female, you would know when she started to lay eggs-- but that male is never going to lay eggs, so we're stuck guessingFrom a lady who got him from a hatchery. Not Sumatra, because the comb is wrong. OP's bird has a single comb, while Sumatras have pea combs.Maybe hatchery quality Ayam Cemani or Sumatra?
