Need help with crop/ from sweden

no I use paraffin oil because I have been recommended by a girl not to use olive oil because it affects the liver.

Paraffin oil is far from ideal and may not be very good for your hen.
Try and get some coconut oil. Put it in the fridge until it solidifies. You can then feed your hen lumps rather than try to get a semi liquid down her.
Unfortunately crop problems are often symptoms of other problems rather then the problem itself.
You might want to consider a routine such as this.
Flood her crop with plain water. Here is an article on how to crop feed.

I aim to get at least 40ml into the crop. The crop should feel full and watery.
Gently massage the crop to mix the water in with whatever solids are left in the crop. Check any poop for consistency. Taking pictures may help.
After half an hour or so feed her the cold coconut oil. Try to get around two centimeters square into her.
Massage the crop again.
Let her rest for a couple of hours and repeat.

I think parafin is a European generic term for cooking oil. But I do prefer coconut oil.

It's not. They are different and parafin oil is not what I would give. Paraffin oil is for wicked lamps.

Mine do that too, I think it's common, but I have no idea why they do it. Know they need some carbon perhaps?

I discovered fermented feed through this site - as usual, there are a mix of opinions on it, but my flock thrives on it, and I do believe it helps them maintain a sturdy digestive system. This is a widely recommended page on it

BTW, where in Sweden are you? I have visited Stockholm and Uppsala, and someone's lakeside house in a forest about an hour from Uppsala (and canoed on the lake ), and I think it is a beautiful country. Also full of very nice people!

I live higher up in Sweden, but only about 3 hours from Stockholm.
my dad lives in uppsala, I have lived there for a while but I thrive best in the country where it is not so lively
