I think my hen has an injured toe. it is slightly swollen. It may be bumblefoot. Before I make a trip to Tractor suppply. Do they have what I need? Antibiotic? Vetwrap? I have read alot of the tips on this website but I am not sure how much injectable antibiotic to give. I have some human usage which is fine I am sure but is it less of a dosage? ANy help would be much appreciated. I have not looked at her foot yet. I just noticed last night. We had a big storm and had no power so I couldn't see very well. Today is church and Daddy's day I am finally home and ready to see what it is. I just want to see if I need to go to tractor supply or not before they close. Thanks!!!!!!!
Update it is bumblefoot. We cleaned it out good and wrapped it. I still have not gotten any feedback on dosing. I have some injectable Penicillin on hand. Just not sure how much to give her.
