I'll admit I'm stumped with these four chicks. I've sorted the other 25 of their brood, no problem - but these four just ... I dunno! Please help me figure out whether they belong in Camp Cockerel or the Pullet Palace?
They are all 8 weeks old, mixed mutts from my backyard flock of RIR, BPR, Black Australorp, one EE and a Leghorn thrown in for good measure.
IT may be worth noting that none of my roos have barring. I put three of these birds in the Pullet area this morning, and immediately after heard one of them crow. Don't know which one and he didn't do it again for me. The fourth (gray D) is still in with the boys.
