I just done another hatched after learn and learn and learn how to hatch my favorite Jumbo pekin. and here my experience.
I use styrofoam cooler for incubator, it has light bulb, fan and incubatorwarehouse Incukit.
I turn on the light bulb for support the humidity and use Incukit for control temperature (the extra fan I keep it off).
I use egg turner for first 2 weeks with 18 eggs (I bought them through Ebay) and spray bottle to spray the eggs 3 - 4 times a day. After 2 weeks I turn them by hand. 4 eggs weren't improve so.. I have 14 eggs left.
Day 26 I stop turn them and try to increase the humidity up to 75% but the Incukit mount on top of the cooler bowl the humidity down and thermostat probe showed me that humidity around the eggs only 65% so.. I turn off the Incukit and turn up the light bulb and turn on the extra fan (this fan attach on the side of the cooler)... humidity increase up to 76 - 79%..
Day 28 8 eggs cracked.. day 29..2 more eggs cracked.. 2 babies come out around 8am.. and 5 babies come out later.. 7pm I took 7 babies out and cracked open the rest of the eggs.... I have 4 more babies, but I let them stay in the cooler few more hours before take them out.. and 3 last eggs that seem stop improve about day 18 - 22. so.. I'm very happy with the result..
