need help with identifying breeds please

Ordering all pullets is really not a 100% guarantee because of the error rate involved in vent sexing day-old chicks.

Baby picture looks a little light, but possibly Fayoumi? What sort of assortment did you order? Knowing the basic (rare, exotic, brown layer, etc) assortment can help narrow possible breeds that would be included.

I ordered 2 white crested blue polish, 2 rare egg layer and 3 brown egg layer. I got my 2 WC blue polish another one as part of the assortment. And a couple I am not sure of - I think a Buff Brahma, a Buff Orpington and the other in the picture I am not sure of either (maybe a Barred Rock??) and then this silly mystery one.

The Orp, Brahma and possible Barred Rock are probably your brown egg layers[Brahma is listed in both rares and brown layers on the hatchery site], The extra Polish and your mystery chick are probably the rares. Meyer does carry Fayoumis in their rare assortment, so that is probably what he/she is ^^.

their chicks are brown when little
